Project Objectives To develop detailed Water & Wastewater Consolidation  Studies that answer questions that Town of Tupper Lake  residents and officials have about how the consolidation  process would affect residents and local governments. • Phase 1: Existing Conditions   • Phase 2: Alternatives • Phase 3: Recommendations and Plan The project schedule includes a public meeting that will be hosted by  the committee to inform the public about the project status. 2

The tables, numbers, and figures in this  presentation are subject to change  ‐ and expected to change ‐ as Authority and Town staff analyze and correct the information. 4

What Exists ‐ Overview Preview: Water • There are 28 Water Districts in the Town • In 2016, 12 districts were taxed for maintenance and/or bond  debts.  16 districts were not charged a maintenance fee and  had no debt • 744 parcels in the Town are served with water • Village Billing Record data includes 650 water customers for the  Town

What Exists ‐ Plan of Work • Authority staff are reconciling discrepancies between billing records  and parcels served to get an accurate overview of customers in  each district  Star to work with Paul and Mary to sort out questions • Authority staff are digitizing water and sewer mains to get a  comprehensive map of the water and sewer distribution systems  and the approximate age of the infrastructure  Star to work with Mark to correct missing data • Assets and infrastructure will be inventoried and valued by district • District tax rates and financials will be analyzed • Districts will be compared to determine similarities
