Enter the contact’s first/last name (optional). 6. Enter the contact’s phone number (required). 7. Change the Speed Dial Index (optional). The contact is automatically assigned the next available number. 8. Set the Ring Type (optional). 9. Press the Save soft key. Search for a Contact 1. Press

2. Select Features > Contact Directory. 3. Press the Search soft key. 4. Enter the first few characters of the contact’s first or last name. 5. Press the Search soft key again.
2. Select Features > Contact Directory. 3. Scroll to the contact you want to update. 4. Press the Edit soft key and make the necessary changes. 5. Press the Save soft key.
Speed Dial Place a call using a speed dial index number. 1. Press

2. Enter the contact’s speed dial index number. If you do not know the index number, scroll to the contact and press the Dial soft key.
Call History 1. Press

2. Select Features > Call Lists > Missed, Received Calls, or Placed Calls. 3. Select a call from the list. 4. Choose from the following options:

Press the Dial soft key to place the call.

Press the Edit soft key to update the contact number.
•
Press the Clear soft key to remove the call from the history.
•
Press the Save soft key to store the contact in the Contact Directory.
Transfer Calls Consulted Transfer 1. Press the Trans soft key during a call. The active call is placed on hold. 2. Dial the party to whom you want to transfer the call. 3. After speaking with the second party, press the Trans soft key to complete the transfer. Blind Transfer 1. Press the Trans soft key during a call. 2. Press the Blind soft key. 3. Enter the extension of the number to which you want to transfer. Transfer to Voice Mail 1. Press the Trans soft key during a call. 2. Enter *55. 3. At the prompt, enter the extension of the party to which you want to transfer and press the # key. Note: Press the Cancel soft key to cancel transfer and resume the call.
Forward Calls You can configure this feature on the My Phone dashboard. Refer to the Call Forwarding User Guide for more information. Call Forwarding is not available on shared lines. Enable 1. Press the Forward soft key from the idle screen. 2. Select a forwarding type: Always, No Answer, or Busy. 3. For No Answer, select the number of rings before forwarding. 4. Enter the number to which calls should be forwarded. 5. Press the Enable soft key. Disable 6. Press the Forward soft key from the idle screen. 7. Select the forwarding type to be disabled. 8. Press the Disable soft key.
Voice Mail An icon on the phone screen, LEDs flashing red, and a stutter dial tone indicate new voice mail messages. 1. Press

2. Select Features > Messages > Message Center. 3. Press the Connect soft key. 4. Follow the voice and visual prompts on the screen.
Do Not Disturb You can configure this feature on the My Phone dashboard. Refer to the Do Not Disturb User Guide for more information. 1. Press

Ring Type You can select different rings to match your preferences and distinguish between calls on lines. Change Incoming Ring 1. Press

2. Select Settings > Basic > Ring Type. 3. Scroll to highlight the ring type you want. 4. Press the Play soft key to hear it. 5. Press
to select the ring type you want.
Set the Ring Tone for a Specific Contact 1. Press

2. Select Features > Contact Directory. 3. Press the Edit soft key. 4. Press the Next soft key to scroll through the ring types. 5. Enter a number that corresponds to one of the available ring types. 6. Press the Save soft key. Note: To exit the screen and find the number associated with the ring type, press Settings > Basic > Ring Type.
