The Weekday Word Christ Lutheran Church – Weekday School September 5, 2012 Vol. 9…..No. 3

A “Word” from Deacon Good afternoon and evening to all of you. Now that we are three weeks into the Weekday School year, I am hopeful that necessary routines are starting to become established…especially the routine of having your child prepared for memory work each week. The reverse side of this issue details two upcoming events that are offered to the youth of our parish: “Back in the Swing Day” and “Afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch”. Take time to check your family calendar and prioritize these events. In addition, if you have a high school student…or if you presently have an eighth grader/confirmand, please consider signing up to attend the 2013 National Lutheran Youth Gathering! Details about this once-every-three-year event can be found on the poster in the Fellowship Commons. On behalf of the entire Weekday School Staff, thank you for entrusting your children to us. God bless you in your parenting! Deacon Buchholz 
