ALL-TIME SERIES Gettysburg leads Penn State-Altoona 3-2 in the all-time series that started in 1999. The Bullets have captured the last three meetings. FLORIDA TRIP The Bullets shook off a tough start and finished on a tear during its Spring Break trip to Florida last week. Gettysburg won the last five games of its southern swing by a combined score of 45-10 after a 1-3-1 start that included three one-run losses. A number of Bullets turned in outstanding performances at the plate during the trip, including junior outfielder Chuck Probst (.455 average, .659 slugging, 11 runs, five stolen bases), senior catcher Will Anderson (.452 average, .774 slugging, 11 runs, nine RBIs), and senior outfielder Connor Tom (.415 average, .683 slugging, 11 runs, 10 RBIs). On the mound, junior Brad DeMartino fired seven scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and striking out 10 during his lone appearance, while senior Rich Power allowed just one earned run over 11 2/3 innings, striking out 15. PLAYERS OF THE WEEK Anderson and DeMartino were honored by the Centennial Conference for their performances over the last eight games of the team’s Spring Break trip.
