Wyoming went 2-4 on the second day of the NCAA Championship. UW wrestlers defeated competitiors from Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Binghampton, Northern Iowa, Old Dominion and Ohio in the two-day span. The four seniors who advanced have recorded a combined 408 wins in their career. Attendance for the evening session was 18,761 and for the entire tournament attendance is 74,044

Senior Shane Woods recorded two wins on the day. He joined fellow seniors Tyler Cox and Andy McCulley as active Cowboys who have reached the century mark in wins in their career. He has 101 in his career and ranks 16th in Wyoming history in wins. Woods recorded double-digit points in his first two matches of the day. It was the second time he has done so this season. Woods won his first major decision match since winning 12-1 on Feb. 1. Senior Dakota Friesth ended his career with the Cowboys as a two-time NCAA Championships qualifier and finished with 91 career wins. Senior Andy McCulley finished his career with 104 wins and was a two-time NCAA Championship qualifier. He ranks 15th all-time at Wyoming in wins. Senior Tyler Cox finished his career with a 112 wins and was an All-American in 2013. He ranks 11th all-time at Wyoming in wins.
