What is a Walking School Bus?
A walking school bus is a group of children walking to school every day with one or more adults. It can be as informal as a small group of friends or neighbors walking their kids to school or creating a more structured program to reach more children.
We need your help! We are seeking volunteers to help us get this program underway at your school. If you care about increasing the number of children who walk and bicycle to school in a safe manner, please consider helping us lead a walking school bus program. If you are interested in helping, please contact your principal for more information. Or, fill out the form below and return it to school with your child.
