Nikon Cameras, Lenses, Speedlights and Accessories All new Nikon cameras, lenses, Speedlights and accessories include a one-year limited warranty. During this period, if the product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, Nikon Inc or one of its authorized repair facilities will either repair or replace the product without charge (as long as it meets the terms of the warranty). No registration or “warranty” card is needed with these products; simply retain your original dated proof-of-purchase in case warranty service is needed. We recommend registering your product so we can send you information about future updates or service issues that may arise. Nikon Two Year Extended Service Coverages Nikon sells Two Year Extended Service Coverages for most D-SLR, Nikon 1 and COOLPIX cameras. (Due to state requirements, Nikon ESCs are not sold in Florida, Virginia or Washington states.) These coverages extend your original Nikon warranty for two additional years. Two Year Extended Service Coverage can be purchased any time within the original one (1) year Nikon Inc. warranty. Please contact your local Nikon dealer for more information. It is always recommended that you retain your original sales receipt or copy of your credit card statement as proof of purchase.
NIKKOR and 1 NIKKOR Lenses In addition to the one-year Nikon Digital Imaging Warranty, NIKKOR and 1 NIKKOR lenses purchased new from the Nikon Store also include a free Four Year Extended Service Coverage (for a total of 5 years of coverage). IMPORTANT: To register for Four Year Extended Service Coverage, one copy of the included form must be mailed in as indicated. Keep the Customer copy of the form as well as the original proof of purchase (sales receipt).
Refurbished Products All refurbished cameras, lenses and accessories include a 90-day limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship. It offers the same coverage as the Nikon Digital Imaging Warranty, just for 90 days instead of one year.
