Practices begin
The tournament will begin in November. More details will follow throughout the season. Important Registration Information: You may mail the registration form in OR sign up in person on 8/13. In the regular registration period, applications must be RECEIVED in the mail (not postmarked) by WCYV no later than 8/20. Applications are to be mailed or completed at the on-site sign up on 8/13. Registrations received from 8/15 to 8/20 (by mail only) are considered late and subject to a late charge. DO NOT bring late registrations to the parks and recreation facility. No applications will be accepted after 8/20. NO EXCEPTIONS ! Fees: $65 for all divisions. $10 discount for 2nd child or more *This includes a nonrefundable fee mandated by county government of $10 for every player in every sport. Registration must conclude by 8/20 so the fees can be paid to Warren County Fiscal Court. For this reason, no applications can be accepted after 8/20.
Player and coach applications are available at www.wcgirls.org. All coaches will need to attend a coaching meeting, complete a *new application, and a background check form. *RETURNING COACHES, NEW COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES, VOLUNTEER PARENT RESPENTATIVES, AND ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN THE MENTIONED ROLES MUST COMPLETE A COACH APPLICATION AND THE BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE CONDUCTED.
Please note: There is a minimum of 32 players per division. If at least 32 people do not enroll in any division, the WCYV board will blend the teams with players from another division. This has not been an issue for divisions 1 and 2. However, it has been an issue for divisions 3 and 4. Please indicate on the application whether you would prefer a refund or if you want your daughter placed on a team if this happens. If nothing is indicated on the application, your daughter will be placed on a team.
The board has chosen to do the popular “Remind 101” app this year for correspondence. You will need to text @voll2co to the # 81010 to receive text messages. Correspondence is also done via email. Please provide an email address you check often. Jerseys: If you are unsure of the correct jersey size, it is suggested that your order a larger size. Players are responsible for the costs of replacing jerseys that are the incorrect size. Please complete both pages of the application.
