UNESCO-IHE, Delft, The Netherlands Good governance is crucial to ensure sustainable and equitable use and distribution of water, and to secure effective delivery of water supply and sanitation. Governing and managing the global water crisis is not possible without addressing corruption risks and transparency issues. To put the spotlight on this critical need, the Water Integrity Network, the UNESCO-IHE and the Water Governance Centre are organising the first international forum on water integrity in 2013. At the Forum, due to take place in Delft, The Netherlands, water
professionals from around the world will share their knowledge and expertise on water integrity as a key element of good governance. Tools and approaches to deal with integrity challenges will also be presenteded, as well as key lessons learned and case studies. A second announcement with more details will be shared early 2013.
