THE COORDINATOR’S CORNER October 2013 WBS FREE RESOURCES ONLINE We offer a variety of free resources online for your use. Go to www.worldbibleschool.net and click on “Resources” in the upper right corner of the page. There you will find resources which you can download and print as needed. Among these are the following: - WBS Postal Program Guide (step-by-step instructions for starting and maintaining a WBS postal program) - WBS Connect Program Guide (explains the WBS Connect program for local outreach) - WBS Program Promotion (downloadable/printable posters, logos, sign-up sheets, handouts etc. to advertise your WBS program within your church) - Materials Order Form (lists WBS materials and prices) - Ideas (creative ways to use WBS for community outreach. Send me your story of how your church has used WBS in a new or creative way.) Check these out and tell me what you think. Also tell me what other resources you would like to see on the “Resources” page.
STUDENT RECRUITING CARD Are you looking for an easy way to invite someone to study with WBS? We have it! Below are images of the front and back of our new student recruiting card. The front of the card speaks of “Hope, Joy, Love & Life”, and the back invites the reader to the WBS website (www.worldbibleschool.org) to register for postal or online study. Anyone can hand out a card—what a great way to get everyone involved in sharing Jesus!
These cards are available for sale (5 cents each). Call Cammy at 1-877-393-0211 to place an order.
INCENTIVES? Do you offer your students special incentives during their WBS studies? Have these incentives increased your student retention rate? For example, do you offer them a Bible if they complete the Master Series? Tell me your good ideas so I can share them with other Coordinators—drop me a line today!
UPDATING WBS COURSES We are in the process of updating all Master Series courses to reduce the number of quiz questions in each course to 50. With this change the quiz questions and answer bubbles will be on the same page, and your students will return only one return page for every course. This change will be reflected in the next printing of God Has Spoken next month, and other courses will be updated at their next scheduled printing. As part of this change, we are also updating the paper grading keys to reflect this change.
