We Are Thankful in The Busy Bees! In all things, GIVE THANKS. 1THESSALONIANS 5:18
This month we will be learning about being thankful in 3 year old language! We will share nice words in circle time and act out how to use manners. We will continue to watch our garden grow. We now have sprouts on our snap peas! We will make food together in class (butter and pumpkin pudding) for our feast. We will do turkey dances and make turkey crafts. We will sing, laugh and play.

Being Thankful is a hard concept for 3 year olds since they are in a self-centered stage of development. Thankfulness builds as they grow so begin with teaching manners like encouraging them to say please and thank you. Learning patience by waiting for their turn to play with something and finding they may not always get what they want, like a toy, are building blocks to learning to be thankful. Preschool is the perfect place to begin learning these skills!
