We Are the Starry Eyed 2016-2017 Theme Summary Starry Eyed means looking for the light of God even when darkness seems to be enveloping us. It is an opportunity to hope recklessly and to witness God’s presence guiding things seen and unseen, comfortable and uncomfortable, in both joy and sorrow.

Starry Eyed is seeing the light in the darkness and choosing to live courageously in both. It is opening our eyes to wonder and choosing hope over fear. It is significant acts of kindness that send ripples of light into the world.

This year we will run wildly toward wonder, hope, and kindness because We Are the Starry Eyed and we choose to see the light.
1st & 3rd Tuesdays September - May 9am-11am
Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it... Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

What to Expect
Childcare
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a group of expecting mothers and moms of children from birth through kindergarten. Join us as we talk, laugh, learn, and grow together with other moms in the same stage of life!
FOOD Enjoy a meal that you don’t always have to prepare or clean up, and drink your coffee (or lemonade) at your leisure.
Children of registered members play and learn in a caring, loving environment. We have three rooms to accommodate each age group, with age-appropriate activities and snacks (if applicable). This program is called MOPPETS.
We meet twice per month (1st and 3rd Tuesdays) at Greenville Free Methodist Church from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Moms of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles are welcome. Try it out; your first meeting is free!
SPEAKERS Get some insight and encouragement on relevant topics, so you leave meetings informed and inspired. CRAFTS Create practical, unique, and fun projects that are easy enough for even the least crafty of us. FRIENDS Connect with others who will celebrate your joys with you, and share in your daily struggles and adventures as a mom.
That’s not all! We also have Mommy & Me play dates and Mom’s Night Out events throughout the year. We encourage all moms in the community to participate in these events, even if they cannot attend regular meetings.
