WE ARE! The Blue Crew is the official student spirit club of Penn State Abington. Blue Crew is a part of the NEW initiative started by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) to answer the pleas of the student-athletes to pack the stands. MISSION: The mission of the Blue Crew is to create an exciting atmosphere at our home events that will give our Nittany Lion teams an advantage. Building awareness and attendance in support of Penn State Abington varsity student-athletes by their fellow classmates, and to reward those students who make that extra effort while demonstrating the traditional Penn State values rooted in team loyalty, spirited competition and respectful sportsmanship is the foundation of the Blue Crew. JOIN US: The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is looking for some really awesome people to join us in celebrating our student-athletes by sponsoring the Blue Crew! Whether you are on the field or in the stands, WE ARE all Nittany Lions! CODE BLUE: “Code Blue” itself stands as a signifier to all who support Penn State Abington Athletics that this is the game the team has chosen where they desire the most support on their way to victory. So what better way to do that than to designate a game as “Code Blue” so everyone knows to wear their Nittany Blue Spirit in the stands. The sea of Abington Blue supporters will instill a feeling of excitement and confidence for our Nittany Lions! FEEL THE LOVE: Remain loyal and you will be rewarded handsomely! Earn your Blue Crew Card at our opening event on 12/4 and your Blue Crew Shirt at your 2nd event! Don’t forget your Blue Crew Card to earn your prizes and to gain access to Blue Crew ONLY events! Attend at minimum ONE event per sport Never leave home without my BLUE CREW Card Arrive prior to the start of the game and get my BLUE CREW card stamped Act with respect to our opponents and remain focused on providing positive support for our Nittany Lions while representing the BLUE CREW at all times 5. Stick around for BLUE CREW special events at half time or during 7th inning stretch 6. Positively support and recruit BLUE CREW members 7. Wear my BLUE with nothing less than the ultimate Penn State Pride
