Class Name: Beginning Sewing 101 Teacher Name: Debby Carter & Melissa Himes
Class Description: In this class you will create a small sampler book of sewing techniques. Learn to become comfortable with your sewing machine, sew in a zipper, create a pocket, use your buttonhole foot, and play with decorative stitches and applique. This is a great technique class for anyone who wants to start sewing! Required Supplies: -
Sewing machine in working order, power cord, foot pedal All the feet with come with your machine (ie. All-purpose foot, Zipper foot, buttonhole foot, ¼" foot) Your Sewing Machine Manual At least one extra bobbin Three spools of thread – different colors Seam ripper Scissors for cutting threads Straight pins Pencil for marking fabric (mechanical pencil is fine) Ruler at least 8 inches long
NOTES: The cost of this class includes a kit that contains all the fabric you will need along with the zippers & buttons.
