ABOUT US Traviss Design is a multidisciplinary design company based in Northwest Auckland, New Zealand. We specialize in the design and construction management of entertainment centers, commercial aquariums, new attractions and many other design solutions in a broad range of experience. We imagine a broad, changing spectrum of activities, from the most casual and personal moments to group events, family moments and formal group celebrations. Set in the basement of the historic First Energy Powerhouse within the Nautica Entertainment Complex, the aquarium covers 4460m² with 40 exhibition tanks, incorporated into eight different exhibition zones.

Visitors are taken on a journey, starting locally in North- Eastern Ohio, exploring the fish of the great rivers of our planet and proceeding to the tropical world of Southern Florida. The highlight is the 45m acrylic tunnel, which allows the visitor to walk right in between sharks, rays and a big shipwreck.

The Greater Cleveland Aquarium was opened in January 2012 and is expected to attract 400500,000 visitors a year and to revive the Cleveland Flats area. In 2013 the Aquarium received an award for best adaptive use from the Cleveland Restoration Society. ISTANBUL IS HOME TO EUROPE’S LARGEST AQUARIUM! ISTANBUL SEA LIFE AQUARIUM (FORMER TURKUAZOO ISTANBUL AQUARIUM).
The highlight of Turkuazoo is an 80 meter long conveyer belt that will take you through the longest underwater acrylic tunnel in Europe with a 180 degree view of the aquarium that hosts some of the most marvelous and terrorizing sea creatures. These include massive tiger sharks, nurse sharks, guitar sharks, zebra sharks, white tip and black tip sharks, and giant stingrays. With many other activities, such as fish feeding and diving with sharks, Turkuazoo is a family-friendly experience that’s fun for kids as well as adults.

The next-generation aquarium in Istanbul, Turkey, is designed specifically to appeal to its Turkish audience and will entertain visitors with its rainforest, flooded forest, and tropical seas zones, a predator tank and jellyfish discovery area. The exciting 90m long Marinescape SeaTube, one of the world’s longest underwater tunnels, will offer visitors a panoramic view of marine life.
