Faq's Do you host one wedding at a time? Yes. When is the final guarantee number of guests due to the hotel? 14 business days prior to the event date What is the schedule for deposits and final payment? The first deposit of approximately 25% is due upon signature of the contract. The second deposit of 25% is due 6 months prior to the wedding. Cash, credit card or personal check is acceptable payments for these deposits. The final balance is due seven business days prior to the wedding. Final payment must be made by bank check or credit card. Final payment is based upon the final guarantee number of guests What is your service charge and sales tax? Our service charge is 22%. New Jersey sales tax is 6.875% Is the 22% service charge taxable? The 22% service charge is a mandatory service charge (not discretional) and is therefore taxable by the state of New Jersey

Faq's When should we plan the menu, linen, select our cake, final details etc.? We are happy to answer any questions you have throughout the entire planning process. Typically a meeting will be set up approximately 1-2 month prior to the wedding to finalize your menu, additional details of the event. Please plan between 1-2 hours to discuss. Regarding the cake, we work with Palermo’s Bakery who has bakeries in Little Ferry, Ridgefield Park and Union City. We require you to schedule an appointment at any location to have a cake tasting, pick your cake out from a list of cakes in the package and order it thru them. The cake will be delivered to the hotel the day of the wedding. Does Wyndham Hamilton Park provide a wedding tasting? Yes. There are 2 ways to do this: A tasting can happen prior to signing at $50.00 per person. If you decided to move forward with signing a contract, the amount will be a credit to you wedding. Once your wedding has been booked, 1-2 months prior to the event, we will schedule an appointment for you to have a tasting to choose your menu. This tasting is complimentary up to 2 guests. Any additional guests who wish to attend the tasting will be $50.00 per person inclusive of service charge and sales tax. You can choose 6 hot hor d ’Oeuvres, two salads, and three entrees to taste. How much are Vendor Meals? Vendor Meals are $35.00 plus 22% service charge and 6.875% sales tax

Faq's How much are Children’s meals? We can offer Chicken Fingers meals at $35.00 each plus 22% service charge and 6.875% sales tax for ages 4-10. Do you offer chair covers? Yes, we offer ivory chair covers with a choice of band color (ivory or chocolate brown) at no additional cost. Is there a choice in linen color? Yes, we have a wide assortment of beautiful linens for you to choose from that is included in the package. Anything outside of the package is at an additional charge What time is the hotel bar open until? Vanderbilt’s Sports and Spirits restaurant is open until 1.30am on Friday and Saturday evenings and 12.30am on Sunday evenings. We automatically block off a reserved section in the bar for you’re after party when your wedding is held here at no additional cost. Can I hold my ceremony at the hotel? Yes? There is a ceremony fee of $500.00 plus tax. We will provide you with theatre style seating, enough to accommodate your guests in either our indoor or outdoor space.

Faq's Can I host my Rehearsal Dinner at the hotel? Yes, we offer a variety of menus ranging from a causal and fun barbecue to a more formal sit down or buffet dinner. Can I host a breakfast for my out of town guests at the hotel? Yes, we offer a full hot breakfast buffet in our Dining Room located on the 1st floor. The hours of operation on Saturday and Sunday are for 7am-11am. The cost per person is $21.95 plus service charge and tax. With advance notice we are able to provide your block with breakfast coupons, which would be put to your master account. As well as reserve an area for your guests to dine together. We are also able to arrange a private breakfast (with a minimum of 30 guests) at approximately $28.00 per person plus service charge and sales tax. (Please note that private space is based on availability) Do you have direction/reservations cards that I may include in my invitation? Yes, we are able to provide you with directional/reservation cards. The cards include directions, a map as well as the hotel contact information and instructions on when and how to make a reservation. Please contact your catering manager once you have ordered your invitations and let us know how many you have ordered. Once we have this information we can provide you with enough direction/reservation cards, which can be mailed to your address or picked up at the hotel’s front desk.

Faq's How can my guests make reservations? Your guests can call 800-321-6000 or 973-377-2424 and ask for our Reservations Department. When making their reservation your guests will be asked if they are with a group and will then state that they are with your wedding party. Should your guests wish to reserve on-line they may visit our website at www.hamiltonpark.com. When making their reservations they will need to type in your wedding’s group code. You may get that group code from your catering manager. The group code is also included on your reservation cards. What is check in and check out? Check in is at 4pm. Check out is at 12pm When is my room block released? The unreserved rooms remaining in your block will be released to the hotel for general sale 30 days prior to the reservation date. Guests who do require reservations beyond your release date will be subject to best rate and best availability at the time their reservation is made.

When is the final guarantee number of guests due to the hotel? 14 business days prior to the event date What is the schedule for deposits and final payment? Faq's When should we plan the menu, linen, select our cake, final details etc.? We are happy to answer any questions you have throughout the entire planning process. Typically a meeting will be set up approximately 1-2 month prior to the wedding to finalize your menu, additional details of the event. Please plan between 1-2 hours to discuss. Regarding the cake, we work with Palermo’s Bakery who has bakeries in Little Ferry, Ridgefield Park and Union City. We require you to schedule an appointment at any location to have a cake tasting, pick your cake out from a list of cakes in the package and order it thru them. The cake will be delivered to the hotel the day of the wedding. Does Wyndham Hamilton Park provide a wedding tasting? Yes. There are 2 ways to do this: A tasting can happen prior to signing at $50.00 per person. If you decided to move forward with signing a contract, the amount will be a credit to you wedding. Once your wedding has been booked, 1-2 months prior to the event, we will schedule an appointment for you to have a tasting to choose your menu. This tasting is complimentary up to 2 guests. Vanderbilt’s Sports and Spirits restaurant is open until 1.30am on Friday and Saturday evenings and 12.30am on Sunday evenings. We automatically block off a reserved section in the bar for you’re after party when your wedding is held here at no additional cost. Can I hold my ceremony at the hotel? Yes? Faq's Can I host my Rehearsal Dinner at the hotel? Yes, we offer a variety of menus ranging from a causal and fun barbecue to a more formal sit down or buffet dinner. Can I host a breakfast for my out of town guests at the hotel? Yes, we offer a full hot breakfast buffet in our Dining Room located on the 1st floor. The hours of operation on Saturday and Sunday are for 7am-11am. The cost per person is $21.95 plus service charge and tax. With advance notice we are able to provide your block with breakfast coupons, which would be put to your master account. As well as reserve an area for your guests to dine together. We are also able to arrange a private breakfast (with a minimum of 30 guests) at approximately $28.00 per person plus service charge and sales tax. (Please note that private space is based on availability) Do you have direction/reservations cards that I may include in my invitation? Yes, we are able to provide you with directional/reservation cards. The cards include directions, a map as well as the hotel contact information and instructions on when and how to make a reservation. Please contact your catering manager once you have ordered your invitations and let us know how many you have ordered. Once we have this information we can provide you with enough direction/reservation cards, which can be mailed to your address or picked up at the hotel’s front desk.

When making their reservation your guests will be asked if they are with a group and will then state that they are with your wedding party. Should your guests wish to reserve on-line they may visit our website at www.hamiltonpark.com. When making their reservations they will need to type in your wedding’s group code. You may get that group code from your catering manager. The group code is also included on your reservation cards. What is check in and check out? Check in is at 4pm. Check out is at 12pm When is my room block released? The unreserved rooms remaining in your block will be released to the hotel for general sale 30 days prior to the reservation date. Guests who do require reservations beyond your release date will be subject to best rate and best availability at the time their reservation is made.
