Please join us for this special opportunity to learn about the model Michael has created with his development program in Yerucham and how we might be able to apply some of his methodologies in our own partnerships.
Michael Biton is the Mayor of Yerucham since 2010 and was re-elected in November 2014. He was born and raised in Yerucham. Michael holds an MA in Organizational Management through the Schwartz program from the Hebrew University, and a BA in Behavioral studies and Hebrew Literature from Ben Gurion University. Michael is a graduate of the Mandel Institution of Education Leadership. Over the last 20 years he has developed an expertise in the field of civil society and philanthropy both as a professional and volunteer. He is a co-founder and acting chairman of the Negev Council, a regional coalition established to promote prosperity for all residents of the region. Michael and his wife Ilana have five children.
