1) WARM UP Body Parts – All players dribbling at game speed, performing different combinations of touches (ins/out, laces/sole) On coaches command, put selected body part on the soccer ball
2) TECHNICAL PRACTICE Mud Monsters – All players dribbling around within area, if defenders tags soccer ball, then you are stuck in the mud. Can only move again by getting a hi-five from a team mate
3) DEVELOPMENT Fox & Farmers – Fox has tail (pinnie) tucked in shorts. Farmer trying to catch the fox’s tail (grab the pinnie)
4) SMALL SIDED PLAY Maximum of 4v4
Always in ready position (on toes, knees bent) Change of pace out of turn Small, close touches on the ball
Lots of small, close touches Head up to avoid interference Change speed with direction Keep ball moving
Change of pace with change of direction Big touches in to space Close touches when lots of players around
