You students are SO BUSY lately, working hard on athletics and extracurricular events. Some days you win, some days you don’t. But you have represented Big Sandy with character and sportsmanship. THAT is a win in my book any day. You work hard. That, too, is a win in my book. I am proud of what I’m seeing. Don’t forget to work hard in classes, too. Your first order of business is academics, so in all your busy-ness and moving between extracurricular activities, make time for your homework. It’s tough to juggle everything, or to balance the load. You should be developing lifelong, solid habits now because life gets harder when you have more responsibilities to juggle all at once. Part of the benefit of extracurriculars is that you learn how to prioritize and control your endeavors. Here at BSHS, ask for help if you need it. We want you to be involved, stay caught up in classes, and to do well with your pursuits. Sometimes you just need help. Ask your teachers or coaches. Thanks for all you do. Having you involved is what makes the high school an exciting place to be. Go Wildcats!
