Welcome Back!

Welcome Back! A message from our SVO President, Bryan Cochran Welcome back from break everyone! Somehow three weeks didn’t seem like enough time. I did manage to end the break on an excellent note. Six of our officers were fortunate enough to attend the Student Veterans of America conference at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. The conference provided us with invaluable knowledge which we are excited to bring back to share and implement with you all. We will be giving an overview of the key takeaways during our first meeting next Thursday, along with planning upcoming events.

This conference has me genuinely excited about helping our club become a stronger force on campus. I want to ensure that the knowledge we have gained and the progress we have made since my time here at Cal Poly continues after I graduate this spring. Because of this, I hope all of you consider attending meetings more frequently and also consider becoming an officer in the club. I want to have elections a bit early this year since many of us will be graduating. The earlier we start the transition of leadership the smoother it will be. Good luck this quarter, hope to see you soon. Semper Bryan Cochran
