Welcome to HTAA Parashat  DEVARIM

In  the  sedra’s  first  verse  we  find  the  location  "Di  Zahav"   (gold);  the  bed  of  King  Og  is  was  fashioned  out  of  “barzel”   (iron)(Deut.  3:11);  and  the  Jews  offer  to  buy  food  and  water   from  surrounding  nations  with  "kesef"  (silver)  (Deut.  6:28).
