Hey Lakes, What an incredible week! Praise the Lord! First, all glory to the Lord for working in hearts through His Word. I’m looking forward to hearing the testimonies tonight, but I’ve heard of at least one profession of faith in Christ and have heard of several other opportunities to plant or water gospel seed. Secondly, Peter Schriemer did a fantastic job showcasing the Creator and His creation. Thirdly, you stepped up again big time. If it is possible, we had too much help! Ha! Don’t quote me on that. You loved on the kids, interacted well with their parents and genuinely enjoyed each other. Yes! More on this tonight at 6:00pm Ann & I want to thank you for your love, care and generosity on our 24 th Anniversary here at Lakes. We took your “kindness” and visited our favorite restaurant, Maria’s in South Haven. We love you and I love being your pastor. God bless you. Rejoicing in The Christ,

News & Notes! THANK YOU! David Gaynier has been able to supply us with and abundant amount of food supplies for the VBS. Thank you, Dave! You have filled us and blessed us.
The Last Sunday of the Month Several years ago, we designated the last Sunday of the month as 10% Sunday. Our desire was then, and still is today, to encourage all the Lakes membership to give at least 10% of this week’s income in the offering. Why? We are using all the extra offering to pay down the mortgage. No, we do not require anyone to give a tithe, but 10% certainly is a nice round recognizable figure. Since we began this several years ago we have been able to pay down our mortgage by tens of thousands of dollars. If all of us do our part, then we can knock out the mortgage and use that money for other things. Thank you!
SBC Disaster Relief Call Out There is a need for " mud out" assistance in Midland, Michigan next week. A few are already signed up to help. If you've done the basic training and are interested in joining a crew for one or more days, let Darryl know today.
Adult Sunday School Update Family Class – Dan Magee’s class has just begun a week by week study on Temptation. This class meets at 9:00am in the Library. Lakes Bible Church Worship – 9:00 & 10:45 am Evening Service – 6:00 pm Sunday School – 9:00 & 10:45 am Wednesday – 6:30 pm
