Approach: • Modular Design featuring a series of space saving products that can be arranged as shown or customized for different installations
• Goal was to preserve as many of the conveniences of a full size kitchen as possible but with reduced size and better packaging • Size appliances for daily use and not for once a year occasions (i.e. holiday dinners) • Eliminate areas of kitchen that are typically wasted space (i.e. under sink area) 2 6/30/2014

Features: Large Appliances 1. Dishwasher/Sink: A combined free standing unit that has a dishwasher on the bottom and a single bowl sink inset in the top of the unit. Uses common water inlets and drains. 2. Reduced size oven with extra insulation to allow placement next to refrigerator. Two burner cooktop with diagonal placement to allow simultaneous use with large pans/skillets. 3. Two refrigerator options: a) Layout #1: Under counter refrigerator with top cabinet freezer (including ice/water dispenser). More counter space but less storage b) Layout #2: Tall but thin free standing refrigerator/freezer unit. Less counter space but more storage.

Features: Small Appliances/Accessories 1. Space Saving microwave designed to fit in corner of counter 2. Storage inset into wall above counter (similar to bathroom vanity designs). • Spice Rack • Knife holder (blades insert into wall)
3. Metallic back splash with magnets and/or hooks to allow storage of cutlery or other items on the wall 4. Coffee maker: Under cabinet design using “Keurig” style pods and a flat water tray 4 6/30/2014
