Four (4) copies of the Senior Reflective Paper are to be turned in to the Senior Project Coordinator any time after the first day of the student’s Senior year, but no later than January 15th of the student’s senior year. Students are encouraged to turn them in early, rather than wait until the deadline. The paper will be graded as Pass/Fail, and credit given for passing only. A score other than passing will require the student to rewrite the paper, taking any notes given to him/her by those that evaluated it, and resubmit in a timely manner, set when the paper is returned. For the Reflective Paper, the students are to respond to the following prompt: The C.A.R.E. Program requirements are intended to open your eyes to decisions you will have to make for yourself as to your career/occupation after high school. Explain what you have learned through completing each requirement and how these experiences influenced your decision(s) concerning your chosen path after high school. Be sure to explain what you did during each part of the C.A.R.E. project, and the impact each part had on you. Be sure to cover all parts of the prompt in your response.
Interview Requirements Each senior will be scheduled for an interview in front of a panel selected by the administration. The panel may consist of members of the West Greene faculty, staff, and administration. The student will be required to dress appropriately for a formal interview setting. Questions in the interview will vary, focusing on the student’s learning through all the years of the C.A.R.E. project, the student’s future plans, as well as the student’s individual strengths and weaknesses.
Please attach this paper to the front of one copy of your completed Senior Reflective Paper and submit all four copies to the Senior Project Coordinator by January 15th of your Senior year. Page 1 of 1
