West Holmes King of the Court Boy’s Youth Tournament Date: Saturday, December 17th Divisions: 5th & 6th Grade Boys Location: West Holmes High School Format: Pool Play Format with each team being guaranteed a minimum of three games. Entry Fee: $125.00 per team Registration Deadline: December 5th, 2016. Team roster and check must be turned in at this time to hold your entry spot. Tournament schedule will be emailed to coaches at least 3 days before the tournament. Team Rosters: Roster limited to 12 players and two coaches per team (MUST ATTEND THE SAME SCHOOL DISTRICT).

Rules and Regulations
• Games will consist of 2- 16 minute halves. There will be a running clock until the final two minutes of each half. If the lead exceeds 15 points in the second half, the clock will continuously run until the team reduces the deficit to less than 15 points. • Only Man-to-Man defense is allowed. Teams may apply full court man-to-man pressure in the second half. No intentional trapping of any kind is allowed whether it be in the full court or half court. A team may not press if ahead by 15 points or more. • Overtime will be 2 minutes. There is no running clock in the overtime period. If the score is still tied after the first overtime, it then goes to sudden death. First team to score wins. • Each team is to provide their own jerseys with a number on back. If possible, make them reversible. • Each team receives 2 time-outs per game. One additional time-out will be provided to both teams in overtime. • Fouls will be counted as a regular game: Foul out at 5… Shooting 1&1 on 7th team foul… And 2 shots on 10th team foul. • Warm-up will be 5 minutes between games and 3 minutes at halftime. • Some volunteer officials along with registered officials will be used for pool play games. Only registered officials will be used for tournament play. • Basketballs will be provided. Please do not bring basketballs to tournament. • Scorekeepers: A timekeeper and scorekeeper will be provided. Please fill out at least five scorebook sheets with each player’s name and number and give one to scorekeeper before each game. • Each individual participant in the tournament must be covered by their own individual insurance policies.

Awards: Team and individual awards will be given to the champion and runner-up in each division. Spectator Fee: $4.00 per adult- $2.00 per student- $2.00 per senior citizen - Free to children under the age of 5. Additional Information: Concession stand will be available.
