W.A.B.F. Championship Tournament Rules 12345-
All games will be played at Laurel Creek Park All games will be 7 innings Team listed first occupies 3rd base dugout Flip coin for home & visitor Each team (home & visitor) equally supply baseballs for every game, baseballs MUST be Diamond and D1 -or- MVP quality. NOTE: Baseballs can be purchased at stadium for $65.00 per dozen.
6- Umpire decisions on the field are final (no protests) 7- No infield before games, no field use between games 8- Tie breakers are as follows: a) head-to-head, b) total runs allowed for all games, c) total run differential for all games, d) total runs allowed for games between teams tied only, e) total run differential for games between teams tied only, f) coin flip. NOTE: Top two teams play 6-games, bottom team in each division plays 4-games, all other teams play 5-games.
9- American Legion rules apply, with college slide rule 10- A designated hitter may be used for the pitcher only 11- No courtesy runners - Teams must ensure they have a warmup catcher ready for change of innings 12- No new inning starts after 2-hours for all games except the 7:00pm championship game Sunday July 8th. 13- There will be a 10 run mercy rule after 5 (4.5) innings. 14- Final pool play standings will be determined by a point system, wins = 2 points . . . ties = 1 point . . . loses = 0 points 15- PLEASE no tobacco, seeds or gum in the stadium, and cleats are not allowed in the stands. 16- PLEASE inform all that we do not allow coolers, beverages, or food to be brought into the stadium. 17- 23 Championship t-shirts + Plaque for winner > Plaque for 2nd.
