SLOGAN

DROP SHADOW

This slogan should be accompanied by the Rocky Sweep logo, the text “Leatherneck Athletics,” or “Western Illinois Athletics.” When the slogan is adapted to smaller sizes in Photoshop, it may be desirable to lessen the strength of the drop shadow to maintain the same general proportions; the gradient will scale automatically. The arrangment above, is the primary arrangement for the slogan, but the following two alternate arrangements are encouraged when the composition of a design makes them more appropriate.

ALTERNATE FORM

PG. 3

Gold on purple is the primary appearance of the slogan. White on purple is the secondary color scheme. Purple on white is the third color option. The three color version is digital media only. The slogan is permissable in black or white, but is discouraged.

COLOR COMBINATIONS

COLOR COMBINATIONS

METAL In Photoshop: Create a linear white to black gradient fill and convert that layer for smart filters. Filter>Render>Fibers>Variance 26, Strength 64. Filter>Blur>Motion Blur> Angle 90 degrees, distance 258 px. Duplicate that layer. Rasterize the top layer and rotate the layer 15 degrees and increase the size to fill the document. Hide the bottom smart object layer. Add a linear gradient fill #140029 to #552988 to #140029, angle -32.47 and scale 100%. Add levels layer; 0, 0.56,255; Output levels 0, 255. (Premade 8.5 in x 11 in document.)

BACKGROUNDS

All of these backgrounds are also available in a pre-made photoshop document.

BACKGROUNDS

PURPLE DENIM In Photoshop: Place the purple denim image in the document, and adjust so that it covers the entire design. Adjust the 45 degree angle gradient to cover the full document.

GRADIENT BACKGROUND Create a shape that covers the entire document, and set Gradient Overlay. Select the Radial style, and make #23103d (or a similar color) the outer color and WIU Purple the center color.

PARTICLE EFFECT/SMOKE In Photoshop: Open up the Smoke PNG file and place the image on top of an action photo.

DENIM In Photoshop: Place the denim image in the document, and adjust so that it covers the entire design. An 8.5in x 11in version is already made.

LOGOS

[1]

[2]

Logos 1 & 2 must have a white stroke when used on a purple background. Logo 3 must be accompanied by the text “Western Illinois” somewhere on the same design. The eyes and teeth of Rocky in all logos must always be white. When fully opaque, the logos should not be obstructed. When given lower opacity, however, they can be used as background images or watermarks. The logos are shown in preferential order.
