Player and Parent Agreement
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES Weston Travel Soccer is the next step in player development after the Academy years and features additional attention to individual skills, team strategy, and physical conditioning. It is an elevated level of competition and commitment for both players and their families. In addition to developing strong and skilled players and teams, the travel program is also committed to fostering the concepts of good sportsmanship and respect for the game. Through this commitment, we will strive to create positive, lifelong memories so that this generation of Weston Travel Soccer has a rewarding experience with soccer, their team, and their community that will serve them in their future within and without this sport.
TRAVEL PLAYER COMMITMENT STATEMENT • I am committed to having a fun, positive experience with my team and community through the Weston Soccer travel program. • I understand that being a member of a travel soccer team is a privilege and that it is a significant commitment of time and effort by my coaches, my parents and me. • I understand that I am part of a team that represents Weston, CT both on and off the field. • I understand that when I perform to the best of my ability, I will improve my own soccer skills and the skills of my entire team. • I will be on time to practices and games. • I will show up prepared, in uniform, eager to learn, and ready to give my best effort. • I will listen to my coach and will be respectful of him/her, my teammates, my competition, and the referees. • I will be a good sport whether we win or lose. _____________________________________ ______________________________ Player Signature

TRAVEL PARENT COMMITMENT STATEMENT • I am committed to the goals and objectives of the Weston Soccer travel program and to creating a positive experience for my child and his/her teammates. • I understand that being a member of a travel soccer team is a privilege and that it is a significant commitment of time and effort by my child, the coaches, and me. • I will help my child to be on time and prepared for practices and games. • I will be a role model for what it means to be a good sport. • I will be respectful of the coach, the referee, and the competition while on the sidelines at practices and games throughout the season.
