what does it take to form a more perfect union? This year marks the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. To honor this milestone, the National Archives, with major support from AT&T, presents “Amending America.” This new exhibit highlights the remarkably American story of how our country has amended, or attempted to amend, the Constitution to create a more just society. And to engage all of America in this important discussion the National Archives Foundation is working with AT&T to bring the National Archives’ “National Conversations on Rights and Justice” to cities around the country and online. This series will explore the tension between individual rights and collective responsibilities, a process that began with the Bill of Rights.
