Operation Christmas Child’s (OCC) Name the Shoebox Contest Our Shoebox on a Shoestring Mascot needs a name! During the month of May, you are invited to join in on the fun of naming our frugal friend. See him on the grid in the Gathering Space. On May 4 and May 11 we will be handing out ballots to fill out to enter the contest (there is a question on the ballot that you can find the answer to on the OCC grid in the Gathering Space. This will validate your entry for the naming contest). Once finished place the ballot into a shoebox at the grid. The winner will receive free shipping on up to 5 boxes (a $35.00 value). Winner will be determined by the OCC Team.

Women of Faith Conference The nationally known Women of Faith Conference is coming to the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE for the first time this October 3rd & 4th. We would love to take a group from New Cov, so mark your calendars. Tickets are on sale today and will be on sale in the Gathering Space each Sunday in May. Tickets range for standard II seating $51, standard seating $82 and premium seating $92. SOS OPPORTUNITIES Thank you to those that helped the children at Friendship Home make gifts for their moms last Monday & Wednesday! What a special treat it was for everyone. The children felt very proud presenting their mom with multiple gifts that they made, and the moms were thrilled to receive something so special. Again, thank you! Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center It’s time to start saving your change! Sunday, May 18-June 8th baby bottles for annual drive will be available. Save change, dollars or enclose a check to help provide much needed items for clients. We will also be collecting; • Diapers • Formula • New infant clothing • Gently used Pack N Plays • Any other new baby items Please help this well deserving non-profit, as they help women with pregnancy-related concerns by spending time with them, offering free pregnancy tests, maternity and baby supplies, parenting classes, referrals and information about pregnancy options while sharing the love of our Savior.
