What is God’s Most Important Creation? Memory Verse: Genesis 1:27 Bible Passage: The Creation of Adam and Eve – Genesis 1:25-27; 2:7, 19-25 Go Deeper: Start prepping for this week by rereading the creation story found in Genesis 1-2 and becoming well-versed in all the aspects of God’s creation. Have you ever wondered why God made you? Sometimes, even as teachers, you may doubt your value and effectiveness. The children in your class also wonder about their place and purpose. Kids who face challenging circumstances at home may feel especially defeated and wonder why God created them. This week, pray for yourself and for your kids, that God would help each child to see his or her immeasurable importance to His kingdom and His heart. Read the following Scriptures and make note of what each one states regarding the importance of humans among God’s great creation. • Jeremiah 31:3 • Ephesians 2:10 • Psalm 139:14 • 1 Peter 2:9 • Isaiah 64:8 • Jeremiah 1:4-5
