PREPARING FOR THE RETREAT:

SATURDAY & SUNDAY Mass Retreat Cost: $150 per person (includes room, meals Friday night through Sunday morning, and materials). If this is a hardship, please contact your principal.

To register, please place this form and a check for $150 payable to St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School in an envelope marked “Moms Retreat” and return it to the school office. You will then receive an email confirmation of registration from the school office.

Registration is accepted on a first-come basis and is limited to 26 retreatants. Registration is due to the school office 10 days prior to the start of the retreat. However, we realize it is often difficult for parents to know for certain if they can attend the retreat until very close to the date; consequently, registration may be accepted up to and including the day of the retreat, but any registrations received less than 10 days prior to the start of the retreat will be charged a $15.00 late fee. Late fees are made payable directly to Bethany Retreat House and due on the first day of the retreat.

Bethany Retreat House offers a beautiful, clean, and serene place in which to encounter God and seeks the cooperation of those who come here for this purpose. Bethany Retreat House is not responsible for any lost items or injuries incurred during the group’s use of the Retreat House. The person responsible for the group should exercise adequate caution to ensure the safety of all participants at its function. What to Expect: What will the Retreat be like? This Retreat is an opportunity to for you to get away and spend more time with Christ, so you may further develop your relationship with Him. The theme of the Retreat will be “Rediscovering God’s Mercy during this Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy.” We will include:

What should you bring for “Quiet Time?” You may find it helpful to bring your Bible, prayer books, other inspirational books you may have been meaning to read, or your journal. The Retreat House has a wonderful library, and you may borrow books to read while you are there. There are also books for sale there from well-known authors, so you may want to bring your check book. There are nature trails, and weather-permitting, you may want to take a walk, so bring your walking shoes, and appropriate clothes for layering, should it be chilly. Travel to Tennessee We will carpool to Tennessee. In order to ensure we have room for everyone, we need how to know how you are traveling, as soon as possible. Those who would like to fly will make their own arrangements. Please be aware the Bethany Retreat House is about an hour away from the airport in Nashville. You will need to rent a car in order to get there. For those who are carpooling, travel by car is 11 hours, not including stops. We will stop for gas at least twice. This will also be an opportunity to use the restroom and/or purchase snacks or drinks. You can bring food and drinks for the trip. We will make a brief stop for lunch.
