Foundation visit to Santa in the caves 12th,13th and 14th December Dear Parent/Carer As part of our Christmas celebrations, and following what we’re sure will be an absolutely fabulous Christmas peformance, we have arranged a visit to Kents Cavern in Torquay. There we will join the ‘Christmas Gang’ on an underground fun-filled adventure in search of Santa; a pantomime show around the caverns packed with interactive festive fun. We are really looking forward to an exciting and magical experience for our children in the run up to the big day. The three Foundation classes will visit the caves in mixed groups across the three days. We will be leaving school after lunch for performances at 12.45pm and 1.45pm. The children will travel to and from the caves by school minibus and we have secured a special reduced rate of £6 per child (normal entry price is £12). Children will need to wear school uniform including coats and, of course, Christmas hats are very welcome! The cost of this visit is £6. This will cover the cost of entry, which includes a present from Santa! Please log onto school money www.schoolmoney.co.uk to pay your voluntary contribution and to give your permission for your child to take part on this trip. This trip can only take place if sufficient voluntary contributions are received. If you are in receipt of benefit based free school meals then your contribution is reduced by 50%.
