Friday, Saturday and Sunday February 22,23 and 24 5pm – 10pm Friday Night 11am- 6pm, Saturday and Sunday, Hyde Park South Sydney’s biggest outdoor wine festival is back in 2013, showcasing 100 premium NSW wineries from the state’s 14 regions. The iconic event will be held once again in Hyde Park - this year from Friday evening (February 22) to Sunday (February 24). We believe the extra trading period will draw a whole new crowd with a terrific early evening atmosphere, enhancing its profile within the city. Capitalising on the success of last year, the sixth annual Sydney Cellar Door will then run across the whole weekend, offering more Sydneysiders (and visitors) the opportunity to explore NSW without leaving the city. Offering free entry, cool entertainment, and a laid-back jazz-in-the-park vibe, this is an unmissable wine-and-food weekend.
Who can run a food stall at the Sydney Cellar Door? Priority is given to restaurants listed in The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide (City and Regional listings) as well as fine quality proviedores, producers and caterers. All produce and menus must contain NSW regional produce. Think creatively. Plan to offer one or two dishes only at an affordable price-point. Why not put together a hamper and picnic or platter of NSW cheeses, smallgoods, seafood, condiments, bread? Single hot-food items are also really poplar. Show off your restaurant, produce and/or region.
