Duty
The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off – for all whom the Lord our God will call. (2:39) This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. (9:15) The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea. (11:29) Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. (13:2) He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. (17:26) I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.
