Who We Are
MUES PTO is made up of a group of dedicated, hard-working, positive MUES parents and teachers. PTO is you! PTO is open for all MUES parents, guardians, and teachers. We welcome everyone’s participation. There are many ways to be involved in PTO and we are always seeking volunteers. PTO is comprised of a leadership team and sub-committees.

What We’ve Accomplished
First PTO Meeting of the Year: Monday, September 18th @ 6:30 pm Lowry Learning Center
FUNraising
Read-a-Thon We raised over $7,000 to provide teachers with money to use for supplies and equipment for students, special project requests, purchase of books connected to classroom content, playground equipment, special assemblies, and Fun Day equipment. . Box Top for Education Program We raise approximately $3,000 each year. This helps to support the Principal Fund, Classroom Incentive Parties, and Honor Roll Celebration Rewards. Dayton Dragons Ticket Sales and Andy’s Flower Sale We raised approximately $1,000 and helped support teacher requests for new reading programs. As well as provided items for Open House and Staff Appreciation week.

Fun Day, COSI on Wheels, Brukner Nature classroom visits, Three Screens Entertainment Assembly for grades K-5 Theme: “Be More Awesome”, Teacher / Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Open House with Kona Ice
