‘Cats IN THE PROS Led by Luke Donald—the most prolific golfer in Northwestern history—NU has many former Wildcats succeeding in the professional ranks: MATT FITZPATRICK: The 2013 US Amateur champion is a two-time winner on the European Tour and is currently 20th in the Race to Dubai rankings. He finished in seventh place at the 2016 Masters and currently is 45th in the Official World Golf Ranking. SAM CHIEN (2012): Chien earned full status on the Web.com Tour in 2015 by finishing 3rd on the PGA Tour China money list in 2014. This season he is fully exempt on the Asian Tour. DAVID LIPSKY (2011): The 2010 Big Ten Champion won the Omega European Masters on the European Tour in 2014 and is now fully exempt on the European Tour. He also played his first career major at the the 2015 Open Championship making the cut at St Andrews. CHRIS WILSON (2007): The 2006 Big Ten Champion and 2010 PGA Tour member is fully exempt on the web.com Tour where he is a previous winner in 2012. SCOTT HARRINGTON (2007): A member of two Big Ten Championship teams at NU, Harrington is fully exempt on the web.com Tour and currently sits 49th on the money list.

Emily Fletcher was hired as the Head Women’s Coach and Beth Miller hired as the Assistant Women’s coach in 2008. David Inglis was promoted to Head Coach of the men’s team in 2014.
