Good Morning WILDCATS! Welcome to the De Soto High School Activities Department weekly update. Get your week started the right way by reading about the great news taking place across Wildcat Nation, catching up on scores, and also marking your calendar for upcoming events. Week of Monday, September 28th Breaking News Our Varsity football game at Spring Hill on Friday, October 2nd is up for Hyvee Game of the Week! Click here to vote! Follow us on Twitter! @DeSotoWildcats, #WildcatNation Last Week Varsity Football moved to 3-1 overall with a 26-6 win over Tonganoxie. JV Football lost to St. James 6-13. Freshman Football lost to St. James 14-21. Our Volleyball girls swept Eudora in consecutive sets, C Team 2-0, JV 2-0, and Varsity 3-0. JV Volleyball beat Blue Valley West 2-1 and lost to St. Thomas Aquinas 0-2. JV beat Bonner Springs 2-0 and Varsity lost 1-3. Last Thursday saw our JV girls winning over Bonner Springs 2-0 and our Varsity falling to Bonner 1-3. Saturday was the highlight of the week with our JV girls winning the CHAMPIONSHIP at the Ottawa JV Volleyball Inv., the girls went 5-0 on the day and moved to 17-1 overall on the season! Soccer dominated the Panthers from Paola Varsity won 9-0, and JV won 5-1. Girls Tennis had a successful outing at the Mill Valley Quad with Liv Young and Taylor Hanson finishing 3-0 in #1 Doubles and Emily Euler and Reagan Ramsdell finished 3-0 in #2 doubles. Emily Parr also finished 3-0 in #2 singles.
