National Honor Society Scholarship Criteria: Applicant must be a graduating senior attending Wills Point High School; who will attend an institute of higher education fulltime Applicant will be judged on the following criteria: Scholarship Service to school through contributions made to school and classmates Community Service Leadership Citizenship and Character Applicant must be a current member of the National Honor Society The scholarship may be used towards the purchase of books registration fees, tuition, or housing Required Essay – The essay should be typed and checked for grammar and spelling errors and look appealing when you submit it. In addition, the essay should follow standard writing requirements and be no longer than one page in length. The essay should be personal to you, not a definition of the four principles used for selection to NHS. Prompt: Selection for membership into NHS is based on Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service. Explain how your dedication to these four principles have helped you during high school and how you will use these principles in the future to achieve the goals you have set for yourself after high school.
