Windows Vista, 7, 8 To access Trevecca's secure wireless, you must be an employee or registered student with an active TNU network account. Follow the instructions below to get connected. 1. You will need to download and run a file to configure the secure wireless. Choose the following based on your operating system x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit). If you don't know which you have (32-bit or 64-bit) then CLICK HERE. *NOTE: Windows MUST be managing the wireless for this to work (not a 3rd party software such as from Dell or Toshiba).

Windows x86 (32-bit) - Click Here to download. Windows x64 (64-bit) - Click Here to download. After downloading the files you will be able to extract them and run the appropriate file for you system. *For Windows x86 (32-bit) run Trevecca-Unplugged-Secure 32-bit.exe *For Windows x64 (64-bit) run Trevecca-Unplugged-Secure 64-bit.exe 2. After you run the executable file, click on the Wireless icon in the bottom right of your computer screen, then click next to Trevecca-Unplugged-Secure, then click Connect.

3. The Network Authentication box should appear. Type in your TNU Username andPassword. (Same password used for Citrix, Self-Service and Connect.)

4. When on campus, if you reboot, shut down / restart your computer, or leave then return to campus, you might see a balloon window prompting for Additional information. Click on

this balloon window to receive the Network Authentication box again, or click on theWireless icon, then click on Trevecca-Unplugged-Secure to re-authenticate.

5. If you leave then return to campus, it may automatically connect to the unsecured wireless. Continue with Step 6 below to remove Trevecca-Unplugged (unsecured wireless). *NOTE: The instructions are based on Windows 7 and could differ from Windows Vista or Windows 8. 6. Click on the Wireless icon in the bottom right of your computer screen, then click on Open Network and Sharing Center.

7. In the top left of the newly opened window, click on Manage wireless networks.

8. A list of all remembered wireless networks appear. If you see Trevecca-Unplugged (unsecured), remove it by Right-clicking on Trevecca-Unplugged and click Remove network.

9. At the confirmation box, click Yes. This will ensure you won't automatically connect to the unsecured wireless when on campus.
