Wine & Dine for Horizons Horizons Fundraising Event Thursday, February 18, 2016 Dear Friend of Horizons, Horizons at Colorado Academy will be hosting its Eighth Annual Wine & Dine auction fundraiser on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., on the CA campus at 3800 South Pierce Street, Denver, CO 80235. This remarkable event annually provides the bulk of the operating costs for our yearround programming and we would very much appreciate your partnership in this effort to change young people’s lives. Horizons is a collaboration between Colorado Academy and Denver Public Schools which builds brighter futures for more than 140 Pre-K – high school students of need by creating year-round academic, artistic, and athletic opportunities within a nurturing environment. The program is committed to the development of the whole child through experiences that enhance self-esteem, foster responsibility, build problemsolving skills, and encourage a life-long interest in learning. We hope you will consider making a donation to support this important community outreach program. Donations will directly benefit the Horizons Student Enrichment program at Colorado Academy, and your contribution to Horizons is tax deductible under Colorado Academy’s status as a 501 (c) (3) organization. Additionally, taxpayers that make a monetary contribution to promote childcare in Colorado may claim an income tax credit of 50% of the total contribution in accordance with the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit.
