Policy and Fee Information 

Children should be registered in advance for Explorers. However, we recognize that unexpected events happen, and therefore we do accept children without previous registration. If you need to use Explorers unexpectedly, please call the Lower School at 201-289-2283, Explorers cell or 201-569-9500 ext 3101, Mrs. Rullo, to advise of the change in your child’s dismissal plans. The drop-in the fee is $40, payable at the time of pick up.



Pre-registration for enrichment classes is required. No drop-ins. Minimum of five (5) students enrolled in a class for the class to commence. If five (5) or more students are not enrolled in a class it will be cancelled. Parents will be notified at the latest a week before class is to start.



Maximum number of students per class is noted in class descriptions. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a place for your child.



Enrichment class/clinics snow days are the same as school. We will make every effort to make up cancelled class, but cannot guarantee a class make-up.



Children who are not picked up by 3:40pm after regular school hours are sent to Explorers. Drop-in fee of $40.00 will be charged. All fees must be paid at the time of pick-up. Explorers does not provide any billing services.



The Explorers program ends promptly at 6:00PM. If you are unable to pick your child up by this time, please call us on our cell phone at 201-289-2283 so we know when to expect you. Additionally, there is a late fee of $5.00 per minute after 6:00PM. This must be paid at the time of pick-up.



Fees include all supplies and snacks.



Children must be able to independently use the restroom which is located in the hallway outside of the Multipurpose Room.



Parents need to be available by phone in the event that we need to reach them.



The Explorers program reserves the right to not accept a child based on his/her behavior.



If a parent is consistently late in picking up his/her child, the Explorers program reserves the right to cancel the child’s registration and to prohibit the child from future participation.



The school does not provide food containing peanut or tree nut products. However, we are not able to provide a guaranteed "peanut-free" environment. To avoid serious medical problems we encourage parents of children with any food allergies to supply all snacks (food and drinks) for their children. We also strongly advise all parents not to send in any snacks that contain peanuts or tree nut-derived products.
