WJCAH COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO APRIL 9 - APRIL 12, 2015 Rocky Mountain Conference Commission on Archives and History and The Historical Society of The UMC invites you to join us in Colorado Springs for the WJCAH 2015 meeting. Then newly appointed General Secretary of Archives and History, Fred Day will be joining us. We will begin Thursday, 9 April with dinner and a program and a brief business meeting to assign committees. Friday, Nancy Mead has planned an interesting tour day that will touch on historic Methodist sites and history, as well as a tour of the Air Force Academy and the Garden of the Gods. Saturday, there will be a workshop by Dale Patterson, business meetings, and programs. Sunday we will worship at Calvary UMC.
HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE Remember that you will be at a high elevation and you will need to drink lots of water. Another concern is sunscreen. We will provide transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to Calvary UMC and back. We have selected La Quinta Inn, 4385 Sinton Rd., and hope the majority of you will stay there. You will need to make your own room reservations. ROOMS: *La Quinta Inn, 4385 Sinton Road, $75 per night 2 double beds; $85 per night King bed; 719528-5060; Breakfast We will depart and return to La Qunita Inn for Saturday Tour Day Depending on traffic it is a 15 min. drive to Calvary UMC.
