MEET THE STAFF Steve Kehm is in his 18th season at the helm of Northern State’s Soccer Program and in his 10th year as director of the Wolves Soccer Academy. Rachel Goslinga is currently the Graduate Assistant for NSU after playing two years with the Wolves. Both coaches have a combined 20 years of coaching experience at the club, high school and collegiate level.

The NSU Soccer Academy is based on an integrated curriculum that draws from the best coaching models and skills development methodologists from Manchester United’s player development academies and Coervers ® Coaching Schools. This unified approach is designed toward creating an individualized, developmentally appropriate environment for all students.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT The NSU Soccer Academy’s primary mission is the development of young players. To accomplish this goal, the curriculum is designed to focus on developing the “4 Dimensions of Player Development,” as seen in the diagram below.

TEAM INFORMATION We offer team camps for all types and ages of teams-girls, boys, club, recreational, U-8’s through U-12’s. For more information on a camp for your team contact Coach Kehm immediately to schedule time. “GAME DAY WITH THE WOLVES” CONTEST The team that has the most players enrolled in the Wolves Soccer Academy, will win a “Game Day with the Wolves.” This means your team will spend pre and post game in the locker room with the team and be privy to many more game day opportunities with the Wolves and its staff. Be sure to talk to all of your teammates, tell them to enroll in the Wolves Soccer Academy so you can spend a “Game Day with the Wolves.”

[email protected] The 4 Dimensions are based upon a hierarchy of basic soccer fundamentals you will be learning in your sessions which includes: Combination Play: emphasizing decision making abilities, speed of play and how they are utilized in combination play Finishing: improving ball mastery and intuitive play around the goal towards finishing
Technical Speed: improving explosiveness, power and technical pace with and without the ball Moves: teaching a winning combination of moves, cuts, turns, and tricks designed to create space, maintain possession and also create finishing opportunities Trapping & Passing: increasing first touch capabilities and developing accurate, winning passing ability. Skill Mastery: learning to develop a controlled touch on the ball with both feet.
ENROLLMENT INFORMATION What could be better than four straight days of soccer specific training from experienced coaches? How about 2 months of training instead! The Wolves Soccer Academy is introducing Terrific Thursday’s during the months of June & July. For 8 straight Thursday’s we will teach your child the fundamentals of the game and have as much fun as humanly possible. For more information give us a call and we’ll see you all summer long!!!! WHAT TO BRING: Everyday you should have your soccer shoes, shin guards, soccer socks, soccer shorts, t-shirt, soccer ball, and a water bottle. EACH CAMPER WILL RECEIVE: An NSU Soccer camp t-shirt the first day of camp. CANCELLATION POLICY: If a player is unable to attend camp, the players will be charged a $15 service fee and the balance will be refunded. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
