*For top coat rubbing, the 7745 material was run on dark and light woods coated in fully cured lacquer – first test: reducing a high gloss finish; second test: 7745 followed TM TM 413Q 3M Wetordry abrasives grade 600. Both tests resulted in similar gloss readings. The 7745 was run on a TM Stuhr dual pad, model 600 machine. Finesse-It compounds are used during the rubbing process to enhance finishes. Steel wool run dry produced about 60-65 gloss readings.
