WOODLAND INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL WEEKLY NOTES September 28, 2016
On Friday, September 30th, Woodland Intermediate students will be released at 11:20 am.
On Monday, October 3rd, the 6th grade classes of Mrs. Heinz, Mr. McGregor, and Mrs. Price will be going to Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya.
On Tuesday, October 4th, the 6th grade classes of Mrs. Bergmann, Mrs. Lau, and Mrs. Robertson will be going to Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya.
The 4th annual Woodland Fun Run will be held on Friday, October 7th. The event is held throughout the school day and we are looking for volunteers to ensure that the event runs smoothly. If you can help out, please click here to sign up.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 14th when the Woodland Intermediate Fall Social will be held after school from 3:00 pm—4:30 pm. See the attached flyer for more information.
We are in need of adult chaperones to help at the social. Helpers will be assisting with snacks/concessions, door prizes and overall supervision. Click here to sign up to chaperone. Thank you in advance for signing up to help make this event a big success!
Safety Reminder: If your student is walking or biking to school, please remind them to always look both ways for traffic when crossing a street. During busy traffic times in the morning and after school, it is extremely important for children to be aware of other road safety skills as well, like crossing at street corners, stopping at stop signs, and simply being aware of their surroundings. Thank you for helping to keep our kids safe!
