Dad Peter became very ill and wasn’t able to walk anymore. Mom had to do a lot for him. She had to help him with geMng dressed and also had to help him walk. Mom also had to take care of Hans and Arabella. They were s@ll very liNle and Mom had to feed Hans, change his diapers and read him stories. Because Mom had to do so much, she was very @red. So @red that she some@mes forgot things. This made Hans and Arabella sad. Mom forgot to read stories to them or to do fun things.

One day Mom heard that Dad Peter had touched Arabella in places that are private. People may only touch you on those spots, as you want it yourself. If you say no they can not do this. Private places are the places that are hidden underneath a boys or girls swimsuit, just like shown in the picture. Dad said he had not done it, but Mom was mad at Dad Peter. Dad Peter then went somewhere else to live. Mom, Arabella and Hans stayed together in the apartment.

When Dad Peter went to live somewhere else Mom was very sad. She then asked other adult people to help her. And other adult people were helping Mom but s@ll Mom forgot many things like shopping, reading and puMng Hans in the bath. Because Mom forgot so many things Hans and Arabella became very sad. The adults who helped Mom, and Mom herself tried to do everything to Arabella and Hans to make them happy, but it didn’t work out. Mom forgot many things and was so sad that even the adults could not help.

To make sure that Hans and Arabella would be happy again the adult people went to the Court. The Judge was listening very carefully to the story of Mom and the adult people. The Judge had to think very carefully because he wanted to help Hans, Arabella and Mom. The Judge said that it would be good if Hans was going to live at ‘Leeuwin House ́. Here they could help to make Hans happy again. Hans went to live at ‘Leeuwin’.

Mom fell in love with Daddy Adriaan and together they came to visit Hans very oVen. Every Saturday they went swimming or bowling or to the park. Mom, Daddy Adriaan and Hans some@mes went to an indoor playground. Here Hans could climb and slide and ride on cars. Hans liked this very much.
