Ralph Davis June 2 Dr. Davis taught Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi, prior to serving as minister of Woodland Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He has written numerous books, including commentaries on Joshua, Judges, 1 & 2 Samuel, and 1 & 2 Kings. Dr. Davis and his wife are now retired and live in Tennessee. Seen and Not Heard: Heard and Not Seen Dr. Terry L. Eves June 9 Dr. Eves is Professor of Old Testament at Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, South Carolina. NAME Above All Names Dr. J. Ligon Duncan June 16 Dr. Duncan has served as the Senior Minister of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, Mississippi, since 1996. He is Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, and has published or contributed to over a dozen books, including Does Grace Grow Best in Winter. He and his wife, Anne, are the parents of Sarah Kennedy and Jennings. Sacred Time Dr. W. Robert Godfrey June 23 Dr. Godfrey is a minister in the United Reformed Church and the third President of Westminster Seminary California, where he is also Professor of Church History. He has been at Westminster Seminary California since 1981; he previously taught at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, as well as Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Stanford University. He and his wife, Mary Ellen, are the parents of three grown children. Honor Role Dr. Mark E. Ross June 30 Dr. Ross is the First Presbyterian Church – John R. de Witt Professor of Systematic Theology at the Erskine Theological Seminary Columbia Campus. Previously he served for twenty years as Associate Pastor for Teaching at the First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina.

Life and Death Dr. Stephen J. Nichols July 7 Dr. Nichols is research professor of Christianity and culture at Lancaster Bible College. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Reformed Theological Seminary and at Ligonier Ministry’s Reformation Bible College. Dr. Nichols is the author of many books, most recently Bonhoeffer on the Christian Life (Crossway) and Peace: Classic Readings for Christmas (Reformation Trust) . He and his wife, Heidi, have three children, and live in Churchtown, Pennsylvania. Cheating: Why Marriages Fail Dr. William J. Larkin July 14 Dr. Larkin is Professor Emeritus of New Testament and Greek at Columbia International University. He has written numerous articles and reviews for various periodicals, has contributed to various evangelical dictionaries, and has been a translation editor for Acts in the New Living Translation. He has authored five books and coedited a sixth. Dr. Larkin is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. He and his wife, Edna, have two grown children and one grandson. “It’s all mine.” Oh, no, it’s not. Rev. Matthew G. Lucas July 21 Rev. Lucas pastors Reformation Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, SC. He previously served as an Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian, as well as RUF campus pastor for the University of South Carolina. He and his wife, Sallye, have four children. The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth Rev. T. Duffy James July 28 Rev. James is currently a church planter working to establish City Church, a new ARP congregation in downtown Asheville, NC. Prior to this ministry, he served here at First Presbyterian Church for nine years as Associate Minister of Adult Education and Congregational Outreach. Duff and his wife Kristi have two daughters, Olivia and Eliza. Covetousness: Insatiable Desires Dr. John D. Currid August 4 In addition to being the senior minister of Ballantyne ARP Church in Charlotte, Dr. Currid is the Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte. He currently serves as the Project Director for the Bethsaida Excavations Project in Israel. He has written numerous books, including commentaries on all of the Pentateuch.
