Location:
3rd Grade -Earth’s resources can be used for energy
-Heat, electrical energy, light, sound, and magnetic energy are forms of energy.
4th Grade -Energy can be transformed from one form to another or can be transferred from one location to another.
-Electrical Circuits require a complete loop of conducting materials through which an electrical energy can be transferred
-Electrical energy in circuits can be transformed to other forms of energy, including light, heat, sound, and motion.
-Electricity and magnetism are closely related
6th Grade (Concept)
-… Electrical energy is associated with the movement of electricity through the wires of an electrical device. Thermal energy refers to the total amount of kinetic energy a substance has because of the random motion of its atoms and molecules … Provide opportunities to explore many types of energy …
7th Grade -Electrical energy transfers when an electrical source is connected in a complete electrical circuit to an electrical device.
