Conversion of Crystal Reports to ASPOSE was a project to convert hundreds of existing reports from crystal reports to feature rich ASPOSE Word for .NET. ASPOSE Word for .NET enables developers to process word documents through the .NET application. Developers could generate, modify, convert and save word documents without using Microsoft Word. Stored producers were used for fast retrieval of data from Microsoft SQL server and Templates were written using MS word which were then merged and used to generate reports in PDF format using C# .NET. Special software was also developed for testing the reports accuracy. The software could auto generate reports for different test cases for a given report based on test cases defined in a XML file.
